The 3rd Birthday ‘Twisted Edition’ for Europe!

Square Enix Eropa minggu ini mengumumkan bahwa gamer Eropa akan mendapatkan edisi khusus The 3rd Birthday. Paket yang dinamai ‘Twisted Edition’ ini terdiri dari satu keping UMD game, art book ‘CTI Confidential’ setebal 48 halaman, dua lithographs, dan kode kostum Aya Brea untuk Lightning di Dissidia Duodecim.

Square Enix juga mengumumkan para pengisi suara untuk versi US-nya, antara lain Yvonne Strahovski (Aya Brea) dan Jensen Ackles (Kyle Madigan). Yvonne pernah bermain sebagai agen khusus Sarah Walker dalam serial televisi Chuck di BBC, dan Jensen pernah berperan sebagai Dean Winchester dalam serial drama Supernatural.

Meskipun SE akan merilis game ini di Eropa, tapi sang sutradara, Hajime Tabata, berpendapat bahwa mungkin game ini tidak akan sukses besar di Eropa. Loh?

“We are very much aware of the fact that the PSP is not currently the most attractive or popular console in Europe, but we’ll have to deal with that depressing fact. We should have made the game for PS3, really. We are hoping to see this franchise grow bigger and become more established. This entry will be our first step into showing off the franchise; hopefully there will be more to come.”

Yah semoga saja franchise Parasite Eve juga akan hadir di home console. Lebih tepatnya PS3...

Dan… berdasarkan data penjualan game-game di Jepang selama tanggal 17-23 Januari kemarin, The 3rd Birthday turun peringkat ke posisi 22!. Duh…

The 3rd Birthday akan dirilis di US pada 29 Maret, dan akan dipasarkan dengan hanya $29,99.
